Caladesi Island State Park
If you want relaxing and secluded, Caladesi Island Park is perfect for you. This beautiful location boasts beach dunes, sable palms, mangroves, and miles of open water. To get to this island you must take a ferry. With two ferries that run simultaneously there is a ferry back to shore every 30 minutes (give or take). Caladesi Island has a walking or biking trail, boardwalks, showers, bathrooms and a concession.

Lettuce Lake Park
One of Hillsborough County's most visited parks. The biggest thing that will draw a persons eye here is their 3,500-foot boardwalk and observation tower to view the beautiful Hillsborough River. Pets are allowed at this park as well. Visit their website for further information on pets.

Honeymoon Island State Park
Over 900,000 people visit this park each year to enjoy the miles of beach and nature trails. There is also a portion of this area that has a pet beach that you can bring your four-legged friends with you on your unique adventure. With 2,810 acres there is fun for everyone here.

Effective Feb. 6: Per the CDC, all persons on a tour boat, ferry or other park-provided watercraft within Florida State Parks are required to wear a mask.
Facial coverings are required inside buildings for staff and visitor safety.
The beach, picnic facilities, trails and restrooms are available. Bike rentals and all other park facilities are closed.

Beach access may be limited due to erosion caused by Tropical Storm Eta. Restrooms may be periodically closed for cleaning and availability may be limited.
